Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 2 Cor 9:10

Dear beautiful children of our living God,
In this year of victory that God has given to FCBC, I would like to take some moments now to give thanks to Jesus:

1. Thank you Jesus for the gift of love and life! For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17.
2. Thank God for you! My spiritual family! In your own special ways, you have touched my life and God has used you to be a blessing to both me and Andrew. Thank you for bringing joy and encouragement to our hearts.
3. Thank God for my spiritual mom and leaders of FCBC. God has indeed granted many favours to us as a body of Christ. As we unite and pray, we saw multitudes of people who are touched by God’s love through the 100K blessing. This year TOUCH is honored to win the Outstanding Non-profit Organisation Award 2007.
4. Thank God for Andrew and my family who has showered their love unconditionally.
5. Thank God for the good and perfect gift from above ~ our first child due next June!

What would you like to thank God for as we celebrate His goodness in 2007 and usher in the New Year?

Thanksgiving Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for loving me and giving me the strength to go through life’s challenges victoriously in 2007.
Thank you for shinning your light on my path when I tread through difficult times. I know you are always here for me and I put my trust in your Name, Jesus.
I praise you, O God, for your desire to save me. I will be joyful always, praying continually, giving thanks in all circumstances for I know that you will come through for me.
Thank you for demanding holiness from me and challenging me to have your character, so that my life will be a blessing to others and not a burden.
So please continue to use me, Father. I know I have weaknesses but this will not stop me from becoming a channel of blessing to my family and friends.
God, You are able and You will bless me with Your wisdom to do all things, according to Your will, as long as I am willing.
I want to share Your mercy and grace to the lost.
I give my all to you.

Testimony For Mar'07

I thank God that during the G12 Conference, He had made me realised how blessed I am to be a woman.

I used to think that being a woman mean being weaker half and I resented being a woman but God can raise up women to be blessings to the community.

I thank God that I am a woman. Praise God!!

I thank God for my boss today(20/03) because he is someone who not only give a salary but he is someone who want me to grow as a person. While I was photocopying some documents for his wife, I saw an article on making great conversation and I just thought to myself I need that skill if I want to preach in the future. I actually wanted to make a copy for myself but I didn't. So when I handed the documents to him, he started looking( which he normally don't) and said it was an interesting article and gave me permission to photocopy 1 set for myself. Praise God!! Haha..

I also want to thank God because I forgot to bring my wallet home today(20/03) and my colleague was there to lend me money to go home.

Testimony for Feb'07

I want to thank the Lord fo His love shower on me that I am able to go forward and also looking forward to serve the Lord as this year is A YEAR OF VICTORY. So when Pastor Kong preach on his sermon, I began to feel the unity in our FCBC Church and trust that we can overcome all situation by the strength from God. I believe we can. I will continue to look forward to God and march having alot of activities, Survival Camp, G12 Conference, Encounter Weekend...

I also wana to thank God for our cell leader, Jun, although she is busy but she still spare time for us!!

2007 is the Year of Victory, I believe we can all shine for the Lord. Let's continue to stay rooted in God and in FCBC Church.

After which, we went to Raffles City and had our dinner and we also took some photo.

11 Feb,bible study after service

Hi sista,this is what we have learnt during our bible study on 11 Feb after service.

Today,we talked about 1 John 5:1-21. We talked about 2 key things. They are eternal life, how God has died for us and what we prayed, He will answer in verse 15.

Sista,do take a look in 1 John 5. I believe God has a word for you in this verse. Do read it up!! :)

During service, Rev. Melvyn Mak shared about 'Entering God's Timing-The Key To A Miraculous Life." He told us that if we miss God's time, we will miss a lot of things. Timing is everything.

He shared about 'Time' in bible, there are 2 key words.
a) Chronos
b)Kairo

We need to know what time we live in, we live in 'chronos' time which means 'everyday'.
'Kairo' time is it comes and go.

He also share about how can we enter into God's time,Kairo time in our lives?

Blessing from God...

I wana thank God for the blessing as this Sunday, I may go to church. This event happened on last Thursday when my in-charge asked me wana request any off day? I just say next Sunday, I would like to take off.

My in-charge said that he will plan it. After my work,I let my spiritual mummy,Jun know about it and she will pray that I will be able to take off next Sunday.

Last Sunday, I worked till 3pm and mit Yilin to Bedok for shopping. After which, at about 8.30pm, I called my work place and my collegues told me that my shift on Monday and I asked about my Sunday, she told me that I was off on that day. I was so happy that I messsaged my spiritual mummy and my sista in Christ to let them know and thank them for their prayers.

Lastly, I wana give my glory to God. He is a good God all the time and all the time God is good.

A Heart of Thanksgiving

Last Saturday was my first day of work, I was so scared and no peace was in my heart so I prayed to God, asking Him to give me peace and indeed God is good. He blessed me a heart full of peace and confidence.

When I started worked in the afternoon, one of my customers which is an old lady gave me a positive remarks and said that I was in this line for long which indeed I just started my work.

On Sunday, I had a shop meeting with my area manager, in-charge and collegues. After the meeting, I asked my in-charge that whether I need to work but my in-charge asked me to go home and rest. I felt so blessed as my classmate which had attachment with the same company as me had to work while I had my rest day. I wana thank God for blessing me. I prayed hard that I wanted Sunday off so that I can give thanks to God for the blessing on Saturday. Indeed, God answered my prayer and made a way out of it!!! I felt so blessed and I wana thank my cell members and leader for praying with me.

This Wedsenday, I had another blessing of my good performance which customers had told me.
Another blessing was on Friday which is yesterday, I had another good comments and the customers wana me to keep up my good work. I really wana thank God for the blessing for me during the first week of my work.

After the customer left, my school teacher came down and had a talk with my in-charge and I had a good comment which my in-charge had said to her. I was so happy and I had an enjoyable chat with my teacher.

I wana thank my cell members and leader praying for me and thanking God for what He has done in my life.

Indeed, God is a good God. If you put your trust in Him, He will bless you back.

Wow. I was amazed when I do so many wrong things God didn’t leave me in the lurch.
I thank Him for His eternal love that never end …… Amen!

A calling from GOD

I have always loved singing and I started to write songs in my life for God. I only sing in the room when I am alone praying to God. One day Alicia and I went to youth service and she told me about a song composing fellowship ….. I was so delighted I wanted to share my song and to tell people how GOD have changed my life and also how much I love God. I know that this is a calling from God.

God spoke to me during my prayer.

He said, "My child, use your talent don’t keep it if not you will lose it." And God have also give me this vision of being a Cell Group Leader. I will continue to walk by faith and believe in Him that one day I will be able to be a faithful Cell Leader.
